I have been coming to your office for more than 30 years (initially with Dr. Welland). After retirement, I have to pay all the bills from my pocket, so I have to be careful with what I pay. On Sept. 13th. I was in the Hygienist chair for about 30-32 minutes, and I was being charged for three and half units. Only after I complained, the charges were reduced for two and half units, which I feel was still more than what I should have been charged. In the past also I had to complain a few times as I felt I was being overcharged. It is not pleasant to complain, and I agree that running dental office is expensive, but I was shocked when asked to pay $190 for half an hour cleaning of teeth.

I was doing cleaning this time and everything was good as usual but this time the cleaning was performed faster than usual. It took only 30 min for all teeth which is usually done for an hour. Also, I paid the same price for 30 min cleaning as I pay for an hour which was wired.
